MAC Alluring Aquatic Haul

I know it has been QUITE AWHILE since my last post and I am so sorry about that but here are pictures on my MAC haul.

I lurve every thang about it!

First off, I didnt get the bronzers and blushes since I already have a few blushes I rarely use and a bronzer that I swatch at home lol. I’m not that very good when it comes to makeup such as those items but I cannot live without eye shadow, lippies, and mascara!

***Please click on pictures to view them bigger. It’ll jump to a new window. No need to hit the back button. Shhh, I loathe that too.***

MAC signature bullet lippies are:

Goddess of the Sea

Enchanted One

Clear Water

Extra Dimension Eyeshadows (LtoR)

Fathom’s Deep

Sea Worship

Can we at least agree that the packaging of MACs new limited edition collection Alluring Aquatic is everything!! One of the many reasons why I hoped on it.

Here is the packaging up close and personal. All in natural lighting. :]

The 3D water drop effect is just… breathtaking!

This is how MACs Extra Dimension line looks like.

The wave is just perfect for this underwater, kinda mermaid, Greek Mythology theme.

Now, onto the swatches!

From Top to Bottom:

Clear Water (Sparkly goodness!)
Goddess of the Sea
Covergirl Sultry 200 (comparing purpose)
Enchanted One (I thought this was like Covergirl Sultry but it’s much lighter. Super pretty with Clear Water)

***I have also purchased Head in the Clouds from MACs Playland collection. These swatches are for folks wondering if it’s the same as RiRi Viva Glam.***

Head in the Clouds (comparing purpose)
RiRi Viva Glam (RVG is so obviously a darker red than HITC. HITC has gold specks)

The MAC Alluring Aquatic lippies are super opaque and non drying. Mystical gives you that “your natural pigmented lips but better” look. Goddess of the Sea is thee perfect purple and Enchanted One is a gorgeous nude! I can honestly wear that nude better that Covergirl Sultry 200.

From Top to Bottom:

Lorelai (a lovely soft pink. Compared to Stila Kitten it is a deeper pink)

Fathom’s Deep (Certain light it’s Navy Blue and sometimes it appears purple)

Sea Worship (Antique olive gold)

The MAC Alluring Aquatic Extra Dimensional eyeshadows were super buttery smooth and very high in pigment although out of the three I’ve purchase, Fathoms Deep is more pigmented. FD was only swatched once; Sea Worship and Lorelai twice.

Now I hope you’re not still wondering if you should get this collection. Okay… I get it because it’s super expensive. The eyeshadows alone were $19.50 each!! Gag city. I’m just saying if you can afford it then run, do not walk, to the nearest MAC, Nordstrom, Belk and get you a couple please! You will not regret it. I on the other hand already regretting on not getting Siren Song and Pet Me Please.  Remember, these are LIMITED EDITION (although MAC still has it on the site) so don’t sleep!

NYC Metro Girl

I was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. Moved out here to CT to start anew but my heart will always belong to NYC. Now when I came across this brand, I was hella intrigued because anything that has to do with NYC, I am so here for.

Minnie Brown is the owner and creator of NYC MetroGirl. The company started in March 2013 and is based out in Staten Island (Shaolin if you’re a Wu-Tang fan like moi). She was super nice to send me a few items to review.

**Pictures of products were taken before use**

Minnie has some magic making hands because the performance of this soap is everything. It lathers perfectly, it makes the skin feel super smooth like a lotion bar that lathers. And once you rinse it off the skin, it doesnt feel dry or streaky. The scent……@___@…… it’s like a grown woman, sexy yet fruity scent. I love it. Very hard to describe but when I used this, the scent permeates the bathroom like crazy. Even some minutes after the shower you can still smell it. Jesus.

**On the site, the scent describes as Golden Amber and Egyptian Musk intermingled with sparkling citrus, lily of the valley, pink jasmine and warm woods

Would I purchase?

Another gem here is this glycerin bar Coco Dream. The performance is the same as Creative Juice but this moisturizes the skin more because of the glycerin content. Perfect for the this dry arse weather lol. Because lawd knows I need a basket full of these with a tub full of thick butter lol. Now the name is very true to the scent. Smells like a dream. Very tropical, under a palm tree drinking gin and juice out of a coconut. Yup, at least that’s my dream haha. It smells amazing and just like Creative Juice, the scent fills the bathroom during and after each use.

**On the site, the scent describes as Coconut & Patchouli with a touch of light musk

Would I Purchase?

Darn skippy!! *means yes*

This butter is thick but light enough to 86 the ashiness off your hands and still be able to hold a cup of coffee without being scared it may slip. Coin the term butter fingers. Heh. NYC Metro Girl body butter is also perfect enough to wear it winter round. So it wont feel like you rubbed canola oil on your body when you’re under 90 degree weather and doesn’t clog pores! This scent Dark Berry is another winner. Lawd hammercy. Another grown and sexy sweet scent. What I love about these scents are Creative Juice, Coco Dreams and Dark Berry are NOT your teen daughter scents. Not bubble gum, pop-y, I borrowed from a teen girl scent. When I say grown sexy and sweet.. think of sweet scents but darkened down so women in their 50’s can still rock.

**On the site, the scent describes as Ripe black raspberries, mixed with dark plums and warm vanilla

Would I Purchase?

Yes ma’am.. a tub full. *nods*

Last year around this season, I had some crust arse lips. What kind of saved it from cracking and drying to oblivion was my oil mix of safflower oil, sweet almond oil and olive oil. I still kind of use that mix (when I remember) but I’ve been using sugar scrubs more. This pocket sugar scrub I have been using for a few weeks(not combined with other scrubs and balms), one time in the day and once at night. Calling this a sugar scrub is kind of questionable being that it doesn’t have any sugar grains in it. It’s pretty much a Green Tea and Strawberry “get cho lips right)”balm. But lips are still kissably smooth. It smells exactly like green tea and strawberries too.

Would I Purchase?

Yes. Can’t get enough of lip saving products. :]

I own oil perfumes and never really cared for solid perfumes until I tried this. I glide this on pulse/pressure points (behind the ears, on the wrist, etc) and it’ll stay on for a couple of hours. It really depends on your body chemistry. NYC Metro Girl solid perfume smells so good. Desire is the scent and again, part of the grown and sexy sweet crew. Even though it doesnt last on me for long, I like the fact that the scent transfers on clothing. So when I wear that item again along with the solid perfume, the scent would be more pronounced.

Would I Purchase?

A tip when you purchase NYC Metro Girl products, if you get any of the scents, make sure you get the works. If you end up getting Creative Juice soap bar, get the butter, perfume, and lotion in that scent. It smell will last longer on you use them accordingly.

Go on and check out NYC Metro Girl

Product Review Cream and Coco

I am sure most of you in the natural hair community heard about the company Cream & Coco. Victoria is the owner and creator of C&C and she’s super nice and her products are out of this world in my opinion. She creates her masterpieces in her “creamery” along with her twin girls—they’re so adorable! From Hair to skin to nether regions (yasss, Cream & Coco been saving one vajayjay at a time, hunny), you’d love everything in her shop.

pure water, Behentrimonium Methosulfate (and) Cetyl Alcohol (and) Butylene Glycol, Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Seed Butter, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter), Acetic Acid (Apple Cider Vinegar), Cetearyl Alcohol (and) Stearalkonium Chloride, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Persea Gratissima (Avocado) Oil, Glycerin, perfume, Cacoa, Cymbopogon Schoenanthus (Lemongrass), Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf, Urtica Dioica (Nettle) Leaf Powder, Althea Offinalis (Marshmallow) Root, Phenoxyethanol (and) Caprylyl Glycol (and) Sorbic Acid

Smells like chocolates, marshmellow and perfume..

$18 for 16oz

I really like this cowash! It has nice slip, makes the curls POP and hair clean. I don’t think it cleans very well if you applied heavy butters, or simply layering heavy products (thick leave in, thick butter etc.). The texture is creamy, not too thick and not runny. Glides through the hair very well, so detangling is a breeze! The smell, hmmmm, I don’t love it but then, I don’t really hate it. I really smell chocolate and marshmallow but then this scent comes from the background like POW lol. It’s too perfumy. I can deal but I can seriously do without the perfume scent.

Would I purchase?

Yessiree Bob!

I have heard so much about this Naked Baby Glazed tincture that I was super happy Vicky (Victoria, owner/creator of Cream & Coco) threw this in the package. Mann, this stuff is awesome! Super light! Makes the skin feel lush and moisturized. I used this on my cuticles every now and then and it makes it look perfect. Don’t be alarmed by the things floating in the tincture, it’s pieces of oats!

I love sniffing my toddlers when I apply it on them too. It smells like baby powder in Fresh scent with some sweetness to it. Sounds like a weird thing right? Sweet smelling baby powder lol but don’t fret! It’s a combo I never thought can work.Very light scent and super yummm.

saponified oils of soybean, coconut, olive, soy wax & shea butter, apricot kernel oil, fragrance oil, oatmeal, organic clover honey, organic peach powder, cocoa, apricot seeds

$5.25 each.. could get 5 or 5.5 oz when you purchase

I have tried C&C soaps before and I love the scents she comes up with for each and the way it feels on the skin! The lather in these bars are superb. Makes you squeaky clean but no dryness because of the amount of oils and butter in it.

I wish I can tell you guys about the scents but these snack sizes came in a white paper bag and my mistake was I didn’t wrap them each in saran wrap. I just left them in there. Womp city. And I did use both and the smell is non-existent but usually her soaps smell great. But that’s okay, sometimes with folks, performance usually outshine the scent.

Gooseberry Aloe Pudding

pure water, Persea Gratissima (avocado) Oil, Behentrimonium Methosulfate, Cetyl Alcohol, Butylene Glycol, Butyrospermum Parkii (shea butter), glycerin, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Cera Alba, xanthum gum, perfume, dl-Panthenol, hydrolyzed oat protein, Equisetum Arvense Extract (horsetail), amla, Ulmus fulva (slippery elm), Phenoxyethanol (and) Caprylyl Glycol (and) Sorbic Acid

$12 for 8oz

Gooseberry Aloe Pudding is a new product on Cream & Coco website in replace of their Curls For Days Hair pudding. I have used the older hair pudding (CFD) before and to tell you the truth, they’re pretty much the same to me. The performance is the same as well as slippage (not enough of that if you ask me).

As you can see in the pictures, there’s a difference in texture and color. GAP is more off white where as CFD is also off white but a little cloudier.  They’re both thick creams,  if you were to hold both jars upside down with lids off, they will not budge out of the jar. But CFD is more creamier. The scents are definitely different. CFD smells like sweet vanilla and GAP smells sweeter, like candy.

I’ve mentioned earlier that the performance is the same. Very little slip so I would have to detangle my hair in order to distribute one or both products in my hair. You guys have seen what my hair looks like using the Curls For Days Pudding. Here’s a picture to jog your memory 😀

In this picture, I added another curly pudding with CFD that also didn’t work in my hair alone but together, it was marriage! Click the link to that post here.

Would I Purchase?

Yes. I haven’t come across a curl pudding that weighs my hair down. I love when my curls just hang down, minimizing the shrinkage and having it sticking straight up.

Lemongrass Verbana & Aloe Nectar

spring water, aloe barbadenis leaf juice, behentrimonium methosulfate, cetyl alcohol, butylene, glycol, butyrospermum parkii (shea butter), cetearyl alcohol, ceteareth-20, avocado oil, glycerin, hydroxypropyltrimonium honey, perfume, dl-Panthenol, xanthum gum, propylene glycol, diazolidinyl urea, lodopropynyl butylcarbonate

lemongrass and coconuts.. mmmmmm

I really like this product! You can use this for the hair as a refresher and on the body as a moisturizer. I love two in one products. *grins* It’s nice as a fresher. I would spritz my curls with water and refresh with Lemongrass Verbana mixed in with some oil and it would give my curls a “wet” look for most of the day. It doesn’t make my hair dry and can play up with some products I have in my stash. I really like it as a body moisturizer as well! It’s super light, doesnt clog the pores but it’s not enough to tame the ashiness from the dry weather season. My skin is so weird though. In the warmer months, I have oily skin. Moistly on my face but I never have to apply lotion. Well, only a little on the elbows and knees. Lemongrass Verbana is perfect for the warmer months. And even though it doesnt tame the ashiness, I love what it does for my cuticles. I’m a nail polish girl and I change up the colors every day or every two days. The nail polish remover does take a toll on the cuticles but after I remove the polish, I’d wash my hands with hand soap and apply LV. This cream is like a Capt’n save a Cuticle lol. *whispers* I think Vicky should create cuticle creams, seriously.

I wish I can get more of this good stuff, but sadly, this product was limited edition in one of Cream and Coco monthly hot boxes and for the holiday VIP sale. So yeah, she’s no longer selling it but you can ask Vicky if she has any products in stock that is close to or that’s in the works. Doesn’t hurt to ask, right? :]

Organic shea butter, jojoba, grapeseed

Smells like lemon sugar cookies and lemon tea cake.. mmmmmm!

$12 for a 4oz

Dude, I frickn love this butter! The consistency is everything. It’s whipped to perfection, feels and looks like icing, it emulsifies perfectly onto the skin. The weird thing is (it’s actually a good thing) it doesn’t feel greasy! It’s All Buttah is thick but not heavy. Doesn’t feel like my pores are dying to breathe so it’s super light. The smell though…. *sniffs*…. smells so edible!

I’ve been staring at the picture above for awhile thinking what else can I compare this too. I think it does look like butter, like Land o’ Lakes butter. Lol seriously.

**I’m super shocked how perfect this picture came out btw. Shows the product perfectly**

Would I Purchase:

Heck ya!

Product Review: Scrubz Natural Sugar Body Scrub

About The Company

Roberta Perry found that the skin products on the market were not satisfying her addiction to soft skin. They were either filled with artificial preservatives and/or colors, didn’t do what they promised, or the scents were not quite right.

She tried various formulations of scrubs, testing jar after jar on herself & her sister, Michelle Tucker. She did extensive research into natural based plant oils and how wonderful they are for your skin.

One day, Michelle, having just recently sampled the latest formula, burst in the room announcing, “you have to sell this stuff…it’s amazing!”  2 days later, Michelle called Roberta and announced she had the perfect name, so in July of 2006, Scrubz™ All Natural Sugar Body Scrub was born.

Michelle joined the business, and with her help, the product line has grown to include Handz™, Facez™, Shavez™, Butterz™, Oilz™, OIlz+™, Balmz™, Bye Bye Bagz™, Bye Bye MakeUp™, Lipz Service™ and Lipz™.

Scrubz™ uses the finest and most natural ingredients, and our fragrance list is so extensive, there is a scent to please everyone, including our Unscented line which is 100% Pure and Fragrance Free.

Scrubz Mission Statement

To create top quality, natural and affordably priced products for people of all ages and skin types.

Our goals include teaching the simplest and most effective way to best protect and take care of the largest organ in the body, your skin.

Awww man I love this scrub! Love the fact that the sugar grains are perfect to use as a face scrub. Buffs rough skin such as knees and elbows and I love the way it makes my skin feel very supple and moisturized after rinsing off the sugar. I also use the to buff my lips. I use it twice a day because this dry season is sucking up the moisture out of my skin like nobodies business. Ugh. Love the season but I curse it at the same time. *shakes fist.

The labeling is cute and best of all, waterproof. I like to keep my body products in the bathroom so I love when the labels can withstand steamy bathrooms and wet hands.

The scent is amazeballs. TRUE pumpkin pie scent.

Roberta was super nice enough to throw in a sample of their body lotion (Oilz, Oil & Shea Body Lotion) also in seasonal pumpkin pie scent. Due to the circumstances that I was and currently am under, I was unable to take a picture of it but it was a small 1oz sample. It moisturized my skin perfectly. Was super light so it’s great to use in the summer and the scent GAHH. Delish!!If you’re going to get Scrubz body scrubs, PLEASE get the lotion in the same scent. The duo would make your day. Forget the phrase “Calgon, take me away”. More like “Scrubz, buff and moisturize me to perfection”. LOL.

Would I purchase? Hail (hell in southern accent) yessss!

Product Review: Cassandra’s Hair Potion

A few years ago I decided to go natural and I also resolved to stop straightening my daughters’ hair. I tried every hair product under the sun but products left my hair dry, flaky or hard. I also had an additional challenge. My daughters’ have allergies and sensitive skins. Some products contain ingredients that my daughters’ are allergic to, such as mango. Other store-bought products turn my daughters’ skin into a bumpy, itchy nightmare. Products that use chemicals as preservatives and to add fragrance were particularly problematic. Hunting for products that would moisturize our hair and not cause my daughters to break out became a frustrating full-time job. Sometimes products would list up to 15 ingredients and I would be wary of the impact they would have on my daughter because most of the ingredients were chemicals. One day I had an idea: Combine only the natural products I use on my hair – Shea butter, coconut oil etc. My labor of love to find a perfect product that would give my girls gorgeous hair without itchy skin became Cassandra’s Hair Potion.

KHWm2dN1wkxlXsNXir5NBIrjYqkTeV0BCOt8XtIVjj8LOVE the packaging!!

L to R: Cassandra’s Hair Potion Extreme Moisturizing Cream & Hair Mist

Extreme Moisturizing Cream Ingredients:

Shea butter, Kokum butter, Cocoa butter, Coconut oil, Glycerin, Olive butter, Essential oil, Fragrance oil.

Got it in Strawberry Delight.. smells a bit like strawberries & chocolate (because of the cocoa butter).

8oz $15.oo

I like this butter but not enough to purchase. :[

Cassandra’s Hair Potion Moisturizing Cream is hella thick! I mean, so thick that when you lightly glide your finger on the surface of it, and rub it between your fingers, you can feel how thick it is. So scooping up a dime size and rubbing it in my palms kinda feels like paste. :\ Not only is it thick it’s also heavy. This is perfect for those who likes their hair weighed down when it’s in twist-outs/wash n go. In order for me to use this in my wash n gos (I too like my wash n gos weighed down), I would have to melt the butter over some heat, apply in a spray bottle and lightly mist the tresses. I do the same for my oldest daughter but this butter is waayy too heavy for super fined hair’d curlies.

CHPMC claims it’s moisturizing but in order for a product to apply moisture to your hair/body, it has to contain water in it. And must be high on the list, first or second ingredient. Now, I can say it holds in moisture really nice! Hair doesnt look dried out when the day ends. As for skin, it’s too thick to apply on my entire body. Kind of makes me feel like my pores are fighting to breath but it will definitely keep the ashiness at bay! Apply on the knees, elbows, EVEN on the lips and you’re good to go.

Let’s talk about the scent. I got it in Stawberry Delight and it does smell absolutely delightful! Very light scent of chocolate covered strawberries. Mmmmm

Hair Mist Ingredients:

Distilled water, essential oil, fragrant oil

Light scent of strawberries

40z $4.00

I like this spray and love the scent. The scent is Strawberry, which is very light by the way and it’s not meant as a hair perfume. Looking at the ingredients, it’s pretty basic and the Hair Mist is pretty much there to moisturize your hair before you add the Moisturizing Cream.

Earlier I told you in order for me to use the Moisturizing Cream, I had to melt it down and apply it in a spray bottle. This is said spray bottle. I have also used the Hair Mist alone and really like it but the combo to me is heaven.

Also the problems I have is with the labels. Although the labeling is hella cute, too cute infact, it’s not water proof. It falls apart, lettering is missing but the bottle/jars are sturdy and durable.

One thing I would like to include, this Hair Mist is even better when you leave it in the fridge for a couple of hours or overnight, whatever!

Would I purchase?

I would totally purchase this Hair Mist

Cassandra’s Hair Potion is currently having a sale! 50% OFF EVERYTHING on the site. Use code: CYBERMONDAY

Product Review: TuShea Butters

TuShea Butter Company launched  in 2011 by Terran Dampier. She fell in love with shea butter in 2005 after deciding to go chemical free. By 2008 she had decided that regular shea butter, though great, wasn’t enough. She started to research the proper ingredients and prepared her first batch of TuShea Butter Cream. What initially was a product that her family and friends loved, has turned into a highly sought after product in her community.

In October of 2010 a friend offered to buy the product and thought it would be a good idea to sale such a fantastic product. She explained that she has noticed a change in her skin. It was a lot softer, acne, dark spots and even stretch marks started to fade away. In January 2011, TuShea Butter Company was launched with TuShea Butter Cream as its first product.

TuShea Butter Cream is a 100% natural product that offers all the benefits of shea butter with an added benefit of a variety to scents!

Shea butter, sweet almond oil, grapeseed oil, jojoba oil, vitamin e oil, olive oil, natural essential oil for fragrance

Mango Madness (smells just like fresh mangos mmmm), Loving You (a floral scent. Great for those that love floral. But me no likey though. :[), Jamaican Punch (smells absolutely divine! So fruity and delish), and Original (unscented)

Frothy, light/airy

I really like this butter! Super light and airy texture, my favorite scent out of the four is Jamaican Punch (yummm). I like the fact that the ingredients are short, sweet, straight to the point. If you want to remake it yourself, you can get each ingredient on ground. I also love that I can use this butter in numerous ways: taming ashy-ness and super dry skin such as eczema,  use as a pre-poo treatment, to seal in moisture in my hair and of course skin, to use as a night time treatment after washing face.

Would I purchase: Yes! This is perfect for the whole family. A 2oz (just for yourself. If you’re ordering for the whole fam, I suggest getting a larger size) of TuShea butters would last a long time!

Product Review: Naturalsis72

My Hair Journey

Back in 2010 there was a reoccurring problem I couldn’t shake regarding my children’s eczema. As I tried to eliminate the use of cortisones which only were band-aid solutions for the dryness of skin and the night time itching, I began to mix the best of lotions with Vaseline and baby oils.  This seemed to slightly provide more comfort for my children until I researched the harmful effects of mineral oil and products with petroleum.  In conjunction, my semi-natural hair, (meaning I had no chemicals or relaxers) was breaking off daily due to heat damage and lack of moisture. Mostly, this was due to a lack of knowledge in hair education.

Because my natural curls were ruined by heat, my journey back to my curls was a goal I intended to achieve. During a family reunion relatives offered several hair classes (perfect timing!) on how African American’s hair needs water, so contradictory to what I had heard growing up. Some of those misconceptions included running out of the rain when out shopping or avoiding water sport activities like swimming.  The objective was to make sure every inch of my hair was protected from moisture and keep that press straight hair looking good for at least 2 weeks to get my $55.00 worth out of it!

So, from water being the enemy to becoming my hair’s BFF and a blessing, this was really different.  When your hair is falling out and breaking off nothing becomes too expensive or too far fetched to try. Guess what? I joined the world of product junkieism, cramping my cabinets and shelves with name and no-name brand remedies.  On top of that, I went to a natural stylist who washed and conditioned my hair and my daughter’s hair for $130.00 and sold me over $200.00 worth of products in one day to get me going.  Wow!!    That same month I went back and purchased more products leaving the shop with a grand total of $430.00 for the month!

Who can afford that as part of their regular budget?!

Well, after a year of research and burning the midnight oil I began to formulate my own whip appeal just to help with both my daughter’s hair and mine. Nothing elaborate, but it worked!

With an active schedule including work, taking care of my children, church, and other activities people began to ask what was I using on our hair (because of course my girls are with me)  that made it look so healthy. Also, when they felt that my hair was not brittle or dry especially during our triple digit temperatures they insisted on knowing what product I was using.  At that point Naturalsis72 was born and I began to perfect the natural ingredients.

My biggest education point to share with people, especially new naturals is the ability to layer products on your hair to achieve maximum moisture retention. First and foremost Roots to Ends. This can’t be said enough. Emulsify the product in your hands and apply roots to end to lock in moisture.  Yes!  Moisture is a good thing!

peNKsviUZq9XLEcG9WFT68AaPY52dq7VFirlD7EgNz0Here is a picture of the ingredients. As you can see, it’s dumb long for me to type lol. I assure you there would be lots of misspellings if I tried. :\

The scent cannot be summed up really. It doesn’t have a sweet, spicy, floral or a musk scent. I think it smells like Tresemme Thermal Heat Spray.

Well…. the ingredients threw me all the way off. Now, I don’t have a problem using silicones but most products with silicones are a miss for me. But surprisingly, this is pretty good! This is what I wanted Herbal Essences Curl Silkening Detangler to be like (luckily this works for my toddlers — 2A-3A texture). I use Tangles No More Leave In as a prepoo treatment, I use this as a leave in off and on but on my teens hair, I use this every day even though it says use it for only three. But who goes by what the label say nowadays? *looks around* Mmhmm This stuff along with Styling Hair Butter Whipped Naturally and Mango Shea Bliss Butter did her hair G O O D. Kept it well moisturized especially during this harsh season. Her hair would look the same from 6AM to 4PM school days. I would spritz her hair with this and apply the Styling Hair Butter on the ends. If I cannot find it one morning, I would use the Mango Shea Bliss.

Organic shea butter, essential oils including olive, coconut, grape seed, sweet almond, argan, glycerin, aloe vera, honey, carbomer, hydroized wheat protein, pvp, triethanolamine, sodium hydrxymethylglycinate, polysorbate 20, tetradodium edta, color, fragrance and water.

(Cherry Float) This scent is cherry and omgahhh smells sooo good! True cherry scent!

Smooth, creamy and  whipped to perfection

Love this butter. Perfect on wet/dry hair. Can seal in the moisture like no ones business. This is a styling butter (a lot of naturals use any butter used to style but you get it) so you can get away with water spritz, style your hair for a braid out, twist out or protective styles. It will definitely add shine to your tresses. Personally, I wouldn’t use it for my wash in goes.. I can tell by the texture it wouldn’t work alone but it will to seal the ends of my WNG’s and all my dry styles.

Shea,Mango and coco butters, essential oils including grape seed, olive, fragrance oils and honey

(Berry In Love) The scent is suppose to be berry but to me, it smells like shea butter and a hint of berry scent. Sometimes it smells like sweet plastic. Meh

This is also creamy and perfectly whipped.

This is the same as the Style Hair Butter. Same texture  and I get the same performance out of it. Nothing bad to say other than the smell. But it’s fairly light and it doesnt make me gag so using this daily wont be a problem. Major plus is, the smell is so light it doesnt linger in the hair.

Would I Purchase?

YES! I really like the leave in, my teen who hair texture is 4A and some 4B (if you care about hair typing), loves this stuff too. Like I mentioned earlier, doesn’t really have a smell but it smells like something and it’s not bad at all. The performance trumps it!  The butters are bomb too. And Naturalsis72 has other scents like vanilla cream, mango papaya and applicious.

Another cool thing is Naturalsis72 sells affordable adjustable satin bonnets.

Hey KCL, What’s On Your Black Friday Wishlist?

Black Friday sales are in a couple of weeks and while folks are running out to get family members and friends gifts to put under the tree (from electronics to clothing), product junkies such as myself are looking forward to sales from our favorite natural hair/body product shops.

There are a couple of natural hair bloggers who took the time to put in links of online natural hair stores that are having awesome sales.

I want to personally thank them for this!!
