About Beija Flor Naturals:
Beija-Flor is Portugese for hummingbird. Although known primarily for their beauty, hummingbirds are actually one of the toughest creatures in the animal kingdom — surviving in snow, desert, and, of course, the Brazilian rainforest. They are also natural apothecaries. Hummingbirds are instinctively attracted to plants like agave; the plant’s healing qualities help the birds recover from ailments.
As hummingbirds have already discovered, the best cures can be readily found in nature. Healing herbs, oils, and butters have proven to be the best solution for virtually all skin and hair ailments because they work with your body’s natural chemistry.
Our vegan/vegetarian products are free of harmful petro-chemicals, made from raw vegetable based ingredients, preserved naturally, follow FDA standards, and are kind to your body and pocketbook.
**The past couple of months have been seriously hectic for us. Our apartment needed fumigating and moving around stuff is very tiring emotionally and physically. Lot’s of BS with management was going on too so forgive me for the late post because I am trying to catch up the best that I can. Thank you so much for your patience. Many more product reviews and hauls coming soon! :]**

Creme Brulee not only smells good, but moisturizers very well. It has this thick/wet/creamy consistency, I thought that this would be great to rake through soaking wet hair before adding gel on wash n go days. That was definitely a no-no. Curls didn’t pop, got a whole lot of frizz. My hair just looked like a sad looking, damp, coulda, woulda, shoulda been a curly fro. Lol. So I just used it as a refresher and that worked perfectly.
This was an old wash n go that I put up in a puff. I dampened the hair with water, rubbed some Creme Brulee in my palms, raked it through with some pomade and wallah…. soft puff all day! And the smell lingers for some time too. Don’t be alarmed though, the scent is light but if you suffer from hand in hair syndrome, like I do, you’d catch a whiff every now and then.
This is also perfect for those who style hair when it’s dry. See, I am style challenged so if you catch me out dees streets, you’d see me in one of the three-fast, “aint got time for all-lat” styles. A puff, curly fro, or a roll and pin. There’s a blogger (The Hodge Podge Files) who’s cool peeps and she reviewed a video on this. Her style of choice was a twist out pin up. Super cute!
Organic Cane Sugar, Organic Aloe Vera, Rice Bran Oil, Apricot Oil, Organic Jojoba Oil, Rosehip Oil, Organic Agave Nectar, Organic Rosemary and Sweet Orange essential oils, Xanthum, letichen, paraben free preservative.
Scent: Rosemary and orange.. smells magical!
I think I have met the next love of my life. This facial scrub is every thang and then some. I must admit though, I was skeptical because my facial products are doctor prescribed, and I wasnt too sure if they would work with this scrub but it does! My face is sooo sensitive and super duper, oil slick city, nothing over the counter worked! So the doctor gave me 4% benzoyl peroxide wash, Duac and Finacea. I would sometimes use these every night or go days without washing my face. I know may sound icky but oily skin keeps you looking youthful! So I didn’t like drying out my skin all the time. Yes, I use moisturizers in between but still! Anyways, back to this awesomeness Agave Polisher.
This stuff cleaned the face very well and guess what, it taste great too. Now, don’t go out and throw this on your bread like it’s some jam. Lol. I made a mistake and tasted and I was super surprised that its sweet. You can use this as a lip scrub too. I definitely do and I assure you it keeps dry lips at bay.
I understand that some of yall may side eye the price and size of this scrub but do you see how much is on my finger in the picture above? That’s how much I apply to my damp face every night. This stuff will last just as long as the St. Ives Apricot Scrub would. Trust. You’ll get your moneys worth with this AND Creme Brulee. A little goes a LONG way folks. :]
Would I purchase: Yes indeedy!
